Over 100 people attended Tuesday night’s gathering to celebrate the completion (almost) of the infrastructure construction at Lane Ranch North. Water, sewer and utility lines are all in, the roadway is graded and ready for paving, and the re-vegetation has taken root. Tuesday night’s visitors were awed by the variety of views and impressed by how easy it was to get to all the properties. In addition to the depth the evening light gave the view up the saddle, the peek-a-boo private views unique to each property and the sweeping views of Baldy, Mother Nature put on quiet a summer display to cap off the evening in grand style. Watching a mountain thunderstorm roll in complete with a lightening show, winds and a downpour was both captivating and memorable. While The Sun Valley Water and Sewer District is still working on installing the domestic water tank and the reuse line to the upper Elkhorn saddle, both of these public benefit projects should be completed this construction season. As we heard time and again, the mix of grand vistas and sought after privacy, both so close to town continued to surprise people. Come see for yourself, we are ready and excited for you to visit. Who knows what surprise Mother Nature might be saving for you, maybe an elk calf and mother popping out from the willows near property #4.
